About Us

Our Ethos

TYC Cosmetics is a subsidiary of Tyn Y Coed Surgery. We are an experienced, medical professional partnership, with expertise in cosmetics and musculoskeletal medicine, offering a range of services in a safe clinical environment. We run a Doctor led clinic based in Bridgend, which was first established in 2015.

Our anti-ageing treatments aim to provide you with the confidence of looking and feeling great. Our aim is to make you look as young as you feel. By minimising fine lines, signs of ageing and sun exposure we can help achieve the best you. As Doctors, patient safety is our number one priority and all of our treatments are fully approved medical products of the highest quality. We understand no one size fits all, and our treatments are tailored to patients on an individual basis.

Our use of PRP for joint injections is a natural progression of our practice. We have been providing steroid joint injections for over a decade on the NHS within primary care. We are excited to now offer PRP as brilliant alternative privately.

MBBCh Hons DCH MRCGP

I qualified as a Doctor in 2007 from Cardiff Medical School and I have since completed the Child Health Diploma. I have worked in different specialties throughout the South East of Wales and I have developed a special interest for Cosmetic Medicine and Musculoskeletal joint injections. I have been a partner since 2012 at Tyn Y Coed Surgery. I founded our Cosmetic Clinic in 2015 after initially completing professional training in the injection of Botulinum Toxin and later completing training in the administration of Dermal Fillers. These were both delivered by Bluebird Medical Training, a course accredited by RCGP and Hamilton Fraser. I have been carrying out regular clinics in anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers and hyperhydrosis treatment ever since. I completed Advanced Botulinum Toxin Training at You Can Clinic, in Cardiff June 2019. This was also accredited by Hamilton & Fraser, and Cosmetic Insure. I completed PRP training in 2023 with You Can Clinic. I completed joint injection courses in 2010 and 2025 respectively.

I spent 3 years performing anti-wrinkle treatments whilst I completed my GP training. I subsequently joined Tyn Y Coed Surgery as a Partner in 2018. I joined TYC Cosmetics in 2019 after furthering my skills in Dermal Fillers Training, provided by Bluebird Medical Training. I completed Advanced Botulinum Toxin Training at You Can Clinic, in Cardiff June 2019. This was accredited by Hamilton & Fraser, and Cosmetic Insure. I completed PRP training in 2023 with You Can Clinic. I completed joint injection courses in 2016 and 2025 respectively.
