Our hearing is so important. Wax build up may seem like a trivial problem, but can actually be quite uncomfortable and hearing loss can impact on our quality of life. Our nursing team has years of experience with wax removal, getting you back to feeling your normal self, with just a 15 minute syringing appointment at Tyn Y Coed Surgery.
We are aware of the long waiting times on the NHS for ear wax removal and we understand that it is no longer a service offered in General Practice. We offer this privately in those > 16 years old at a cost of £55. However, unfortunately due to the surgery’s GMS contract with NHS Wales, we are unable to offer this service to our own Tyn Y Coed patients. We understand this is frustrating.
